Where to look
Externally
You can look at the external part of your monitor and more specifically the back of your monitor. It should tell you the monitor model number, monitor brand, and year it was made. You will find the monitor brand on the front of the monitor.
After you get the details on the back of the monitor, you can search on the monitor manufacturer website to find all the details and monitor specifications.
Internally

If you are on a Windows 10 computer
When you boot up your computer, you will click the start button and go to the control panel or gear icon. Click on the system information option and scroll down to the advanced display settings page.
This advanced display settings option will provide you all the details and information on your monitor specifications. Some information includes:

- You can press the windows icon and type in settings and press enter
- Under the system settings section you go the display settings and select display settings

If you are on a Mac
- When you boot up your computer, you will click on the apple button and go to about this Mac.
- The about this mac window will pop up and you will have to click the more info button.
