The average life span of a LED monitor is between 80,000 and 120,000 hours. That is roughly 20 years (based on eight hours a day of use).

LED monitors have the longest computer monitor lifespan of all the monitors. However, they can be more on the expensive side.

CRT monitors

The CRT monitors have an average lifespan of 20,000 to 30,000 hours. That is roughly 10 years. Cathode ray tube monitors are less energy efficient, so it has the shortest life expectancy of all the computer monitors.

LCD monitors

The liquid crystal display monitors have an average lifespan of 30,000 to 60,000 hours. The monitor’s lifespan is roughly 10 to 20 years.

OLED monitors

The OLED monitor has a lifespan up to 100,000 hours or 15 years (based on eight hours a day of use).
