AMD Freesync

While the refresh rate and response time are not great, the AMD freesync allows you to see the images better with minimal latency.

Eye saver mode uses less blue emitting lights to reduce eye strain. This mode helps when looking at your monitor late at night.

This monitor has a 3000:1 contrast ratio and you can see how great the contrast is through images and videos on your screen.

Cons:

Response time

The response time of 4 ms is relatively slow. We wouldn’t recommend that response time on a gaming monitor.

Refresh rate

It has a slower refresh rate of 60 hz and combined with a slower response time does not bode well for a gaming monitor compared to the HP monitor.

Overall, HP monitors are great bang for your buck type of monitor compared to most monitors. If you do not have much money to spend on a computer monitor, then HP monitors will be your best bet. HP monitors have great picture quality.

Response time

The response time is much quicker with a 1ms response time in comparison to a 4 ms response time for the other monitor.

Refresh rate

The HP monitor has a 165 Hz refresh rate, which is extremely fast.

The refresh rate and response time of this monitor makes it a good quality gaming monitor for its price.

Curved monitor

A curved monitor will give you more screen space and wider screen to watch movies or videos.
