The ASUS VG245H gaming monitor is one of the best 24 inch monitors. The gaming monitor is a flat screen monitor and weighs 11.3 pounds or 5.12 kilograms. The 24 inch monitor has a display port to connect to a computer and a HDMI port too. It actually has dual HDMI ports, so you can play any console at the same time as using another HDMI device. The panel technology is a TN panel and not an IPS panel. The monitor’s resolution is 1920 x 1080p and has 75 Hz refresh rates. To get the proper viewing angles, it is best to be more than a foot away from the computer monitor.
To help the image quality of the 24 inch monitor, the ASUS VG245H monitor includes the AMD freesync technology. This helps to delete screen tearing and get rid of bad frame rates. For graphics cards, you can either use NVDIDA GeForce graphics card or AMD Radeon graphics cards to utilize the freesync.
Pros
Luckily for gamers, this 24 inch monitor does not have much input lag. Even though it says it is 1 ms, it is more likely going to be 6-8 ms if you are playing on a console. You are going to experience some great images that are high quality. If you sit straight on facing the gaming monitor, then you will have some great viewing angles.
The ergonomic stand is really sturdy and has a cover the running wires. The ergonomic stand is easily adjustable, so does not take up much desk space. While you can use the adjustable stand, the gaming monitor is vesa mount compatible.
W hen you turn it on the highest level, the low blue light technology or blue light filter helps when you are playing videogames or watching movies late at night to transition to bed.

Cons
Unfortunately, this gaming monitor does not come with built in speakers. They advertise it that way, but unfortunately they do not. Since the gaming monitor is a flat screen monitor, it does not have the greatest wide viewing angle.
When you are not sitting directly head on with the 24 inch monitor, it will let you know that it does not have the great viewing angles. The picture quality of this gaming monitor is good but not great. There have been reports that it has a been of a ghosting or smearing issue, but we have not experienced that with this monitor.
Setting up the 24 inch monitor initially, can be a bit challenging, so if it takes you a bit of time to setup the proper brightness and resolution that is fine.

The ASUS VA24DQ is a great 24 inch monitor. The gaming monitor has an LED backlight display and up to 75 Hz refresh rate. Similar to the ASUS VG245GH, it uses the adaptive sync technology; however, it has an IPS panel technology and not a TN panel like the other gaming monitors. This allows the monitor to have great viewing angles and immersive viewing experience. In terms of graphics cards, the monitor supports NIVDIA graphics cards, more specifically the Geforce graphics card, and AMD Radeon graphics cards with the freesync technology. Important to note though, it does not support G-sync.
Externally, it has vga ports, HDMI port, and a display port. Additionally, it has minimal bezel, so most of the screen is the display screen itself.
Pros
Unlike the previous monitor, this gaming monitor has built in speakers. Visibly, it comes with a blue light filter and has flicker free technology. The IPS panel technology makes the monitor have a great viewing angle. Overall, the monitor’s refresh rate is good and helps to watch.
It is a great monitor to mount on a wall with its vesa monitor. If you do not want to mount the monitor to a wall, you can unscrew 2 screws and the monitor stand slides out. It has vgpa ports, HDMI input, display port, and an USB-c port.
Cons
Even though it comes with a blue light filter, the filter is not as strong as other budget monitors. The 75 Hz makes it a good, but not great for competitive gaming.

The backlight is a WLED and has a dynamic contrast ratio of 80M:1, so the 24 inch monitor has better image quality. The resolution of the IPS monitor is 1920×1080.

This more expensive gaming monitor has a 1ms response time and 144 Hz refresh rate. The image quality is fantastic because the pixels and the fast refresh rate make the image experience so good. Also, the amd freesync technology makes it run so smoothly. The screen resolution is 1920 x 1080. Externally, the monitor weighs 7.44 pounds. It has a VA panel, which we like better than TN panel technology.
